A passionate connector salesman
It was early 2008, just before the financial crisis, that Franky Vanlerberghe, an electronics man in heart in soul, saw a market for a niche player in connectors and cable harnesses and decided to take his chances from an attic in a small village in Belgium. First on his own and then a year later his former colleague and brother-in-law Maarten Voermans joined and the birth of the private company A&C Solutions was a fact.
They had a few international connector brands behind them that helped them set the first important steps with manufacturers in the industrial & LED lighting markets. Things really started to roll when A&C Solutions became a preferred supplier of Dutch multinational ASML. And when Marion Voermans joined A&C Solutions in 2012, it was the start of a small family company.

Now 15 years later, A&C Solutions has grown to become a key partner for manufacturers in the fields of Industrial Automation and E-mobility by advising, customizing and stocking the right connector and/or power supply solution. Two specialists with a passion for connectors met each other for the first time almost 10 years ago. Both started their business in 2008 at a distance of almost 9.000 km from each other. One in the manufacturing of watertight connectors for e-bikes and the other in the distribution & sales of connectors for industrial and LED lighting applications. Already at the first visit, they found out that their business philosophy matched perfectly and that by working together they could provide e-bike customers with a really strong concept.
